Thanks for your input on the blahs. Some really good ideas. I think my favorite was Kathryn trying to milk a free dinner out of it. :)
Well, the stomach flu struck our house at 2:30 Friday morning. Samuel woke up with it. So far the rest of us have resisted the bug and Samuel is back to normal. So we're beginning to think we may have escaped with only one real victim.
Cute things they say:
The other day Samuel told me that he got a warning at school. I was kind of shocked because he never gets in trouble. When I asked him about it, he said he didn't remember what happened. But as he talked about it, he began to remember. He said he was humming when she had asked everyone to read quietly to themselves. "Mom, I was humming worship songs to God. Why would she want me to stop that?" I just laughed. "Honey, I am so glad you were worshipping God, but I think she just didn't want you to hum, because that may make it hard for some people to read who are sitting next to you." :)
We are thick in the throws of Aggie basketball. The women beat OU today. The men are playing OU right now. Samuel has watched it all. He LOVES it!!! Almost as much as he loves Mavs basketball. It is so much fun!
Oh yea, the title: Halo-Halo is the Filipino term for mix-mix. I couldn't figure out what to name this post since it was several different topics, so.... there you go.
