If you are visiting this blog because you are bored and thought you might see if the Parks are up to anything interesting, well here it is: No, not really. :) I complained in an earlier post of not having enough time to update this blog on all the activities in December. But now that things have slowed down, I'm wondering if it's too late to "rehash," as it were, those events which now seem so far away. So, instead of giving long, drawn out details (which, by the way, were very well documented on my parents' blog -- see link to the right), I figured I would just throw out some pictures.
We had a wonderful weekend with Aunt Sara before Christmas! What a blessing to get to see her. We are planning to drive to Mexico in July. Anyone want to go?
Why is it so hard to get a picture of four people who live in the same house. It seems there are never enough of these pictures when you need them.

Samuel and his teacher, Mrs. Peterson. She is got to be one of the smartest people I know. Anyone who can control 22 6 year olds all day and still smile at the end of it (nevermind actually teaching them stuff) is brilliant in my book.
At our house, every Christmas morning, we wake up to new pajamas that Santa has placed beside our bed while we were sleeping. This year, Santa got creative and went with the superhero theme. There was one 6 year old little boy who thought that was VERY cool!!
Jeremiah got a vacuum cleaner for Christmas. Here he is playing vacuum cleaner war with his Daddy. (Has anyone figured out why they don't make children's vacuum cleaners that really work. I mean, if they want to vacuum, why not get some use out of it? Same with lawn mowers, who needs bubbles. Cut the grass already.)
One of the most exciting things that happened over the Christmas holiday was that David and Dad replaced our 34 year old sliding glass doors with very new ones. The new ones are white and double paned with glass that reflects heat. They also both have screen doors. In case you haven't been to my house, my dining room has sliding glass doors on both sides. The screens are my favorite part because I can hear the children in the backyard without actually having to be out there. :)Well, that was Dec. in review. Hope you enjoyed it! We sure did. Can you believe it's the middle of January already? Love to all!!

I'm glad to see my visit finally warrented some blog space. I also take full credit for taking those great pictures in front of the Christmas tree (except for the one that I'm in). : ) And I love the vacuum cleaner comment! You should send that to Hoover or one of those vacuum cleaner companies and maybe they'll send you a free one. : ) (although telling apple to make photo cards didn't seem to get you a free version of the new iLife. oh well!)
Love you all!
Sara
Laughed out loud at the vacuum cleaner and mower comments. Glad to see someone is updating their blog. I'm a slacker!
