New Views

This blogging thing is becoming a little stressful to me because I'm realizing that I have lots of things I want to blog about (a special weekend with my sister, Christmas, New Years -- OK, maybe not New Years as David & I were both sick in bed by 9:30pm) but still several things I would like to share, pictures that are dying to get published on the web. But I don't seem to have the time. It's amazing how quickly your day goes when you have a six year old and an almost-two-year-old running around your house. Maybe once school starts I'll have more time. (yea, right!)

So for now, until I have more time, I will share one of the most exciting things that's happened in the Park household in the last week. Jeremiah is officially out of a crib and in a big boy bed. He's been crawling out of his crib since he was 15 mo. (yes, I did say 15 mo.) He had slowed down, but recently picked it back up. We found out quickly that he was not falling out of his crib, but rather climbing over and scaling down the side. He really is amazing! The transition to a big bed with Samuel was not necessarily an easy one and so we have been avoiding it thinking it would be "just too hard."

But for some reason last Thursday, we decided to make the plunge. (Does this happen to anyone else? You talk about something for months and then finally one day, you just make the decision and you're not even really sure why. It seems almost simple and laxidasical.) Anyway, he took a nap in the big bed on Thurs. without incident -- went right to sleep. That night we went ahead and took down the crib. He's been in the big bed ever since. No hiccups. No problems. No getting out of bed and playing with toys. Amazing!!!! Here's a picture to prove it:

I pray all of you are having a wonderful New Year so far.

Thanks for that wonderful picture. I could see it in my head but really seeing it made it more real! Can hardly believe that J is sleeping in a big boy bed like a big boy! He's so cute! You are both blessed. And we are blessed to be his nana and pop. Have a happy last day of vacation for Samuel. Oh, are you going to root for TU? We are having a short service tonight and then the game will be shown in the FLC. Wonder if that would happen if the Ags were in the same spot? Well, that probably won't happen in our life time.

love ya and those precious boys,

Cute picture. Do you give the boy a blanket??? Kidding, I know, it's hot.

Don't feel pressure, you should enjoy blogging. You're good at it.

You are an awesome blogger! Don't feel pressured, just do your thing. I do understand though, so much to share. I really enjoyed spending time with you guys Christmas day. I know about the just doing it one day thing. We do that all the time. Lots of times I wonder, Why today?, but who knows. The motivation comes and you have to go with it before it's gone forever! Happy anniversary! We're leaving for our anniversary cruise on Sunday.

How is it that a boy who is so big can look so small when put in a big bed?! That's a great picture and I'm so excited for Jeremiah (although he seems to be sleeping through all the excitement).
I agree that you don't need to be stressed about blogging every little thing, but that extra special weekend with your sister should get some precedence, don't you think? : )
I'm sad the t-sips won. Is that horrible?
Love you!
