Twelve years ago tomorrow, I did the smartest thing I have ever done. I married David Jerald Park. He is the smartest, gentlest, most patient, most caring, tender, compassionate, listening, loving man I have ever met. (Did I mention good looking? That too!) He has built sets, acted, started liking musicals, surprised me, encouraged me, challenged me, put up with my mood swings, and loved me even when I wasn't lovable. He loves the Lord more than he loves me. He loves me more than he loves our boys. And he loves our boys more than anyone else (other than the two already mentioned) in the world. He is a great son, an incredible father and the best husband a woman could ever ask for.
Over Christmas, we were at my Grandmother's house and David was "being David" and she looked at me and said, "Shelley, where in the world did you find a man like that? Aren't you the most blessed woman!" I couldn't have agreed more. He always goes the extra mile, he always treats me like a queen. I could gush for pages and pages and pages. But I hope by now you get the point.
So, for your enjoyment, here's a little then and now:

We haven't changed that much, have we?
David, thank you! Thank you for being my best friend! Thank you for completing me! Thank you for making me want more! I can't wait to see how much we have changed in the next twelve years. :) I love you and I am Forever Yours!

ps. Can you send me that photo? The newest one?
You didn't mention top-of-the-worldwide-list-of-sons-in-law. Neither did you mention he has taken up running, biking and home remodeling. Just trying to be helpful and letting you know that I, too, am grateful.

Very nice post. Happy Anniversary. Enjoy!
Happy Anniversary, you two! I hope you have a wonderful day because you are a wonderful couple. The two of you together are truly better than apart. You are such a wonderful example to me of what a life long marriage should look like. I think it wouldn't be so hard for me to find a husband if I didn't have such high expectations set by an amazing brother-in-law! May 12 years only be the beginning!
Love,
Sara
Happy Anniversary David and Shelley! You are blessed to have each other and a beautiful family. Take care of each other.
Congrats on 12 years!
Vicki
