Things I could be doing...

Things I could be doing instead of updating my blog:

1. taking a nap (Jeremiah is asleep and Samuel is at school -- why am I not asleep?)

2. finishing the laundry (this is the same laundry I started on Monday and yes, it's Friday and the clothes are still not folded and put away)

3. joining Facebook (my sister is pushing me to do this. i may actually give it a try this afternoon although I still feel much too old to join)

4. working on LHAB (Let's Have A Ball is the fundraiser for the Children's Museum. I was asking to be on the committee and am very much enjoying being around such creative, fun people. It's also a different group than I'm normally around, so that is fun.)

5. working on APO (yesterday, I was extended an invitation to join the Board of Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach, an adoption agency here in town. I have a Board Member Manual that I need to look through. You can pray about this with me.)

6. working on a proposal for Family Promise (this is a ministry, headed by my mother-in-law, Ann, that ministers to homeless families. I have agreed to head up a fundraiser for them next spring and she would like a proposal by next month)

7. did I mention taking a nap? (I went with David to a fundraising lunch -- now I'm full, a perfect time for a nap, don't you think?)

8. thanking the Lord for answering our prayers about not feeling useful :) (btw, I do this everyday)

9. getting ready for our camping trip (we're going to Fairfield tomorrow to see a bunch of my family and then will camp at Fairfield Lake State Park tomorrow night -- we're excited! and I promise to take pictures of my boys since it's been a while)

10. finishing this post so that all of you who actually read this will stop being frustrated by the fact that I haven't updated in almost a month.

Love you all! I'm gonna go take a nap. :)

Cute post. You are very in demand! I counted three committee/boards. Yikes. And two kids. And lots of laundry. (I do this with laundry too. The sense of accomplishment at washing and folding begins to wear off after the laundry spends several days on top of the washer or folded and on the back of the couch!)

Love you.

You are such a creative writer! : ) I wonder where you get that from? I hope you had a good nap and thanks for finally being pushed to join facebook. Don't ask me why I think you should be on it, I'm just glad you are! And I hope y'all are having a great time at the farm and camping!! Don't forget to post pictures of Phil and Sandy so that I'll have proof that he actually did make it back to Texas.
Love you!!
