The REAL Santa came to an Atmos Energy Kids' Christmas Party (for kids and grandkids of employees). Daddy has got some real Public Relations Pull to pull this one off. I mean this was the real deal, not one of his helpers dressed up like him. Real beard, real hair, real ho-ho-ho, bowl full of jelly, the whole works. He even knew the kids' names and gave them gifts, stuff that they had asked for. Jeremiah got a new Elmo to sleep with (he lost his) and Samuel got 10 matchbox cars. Very, very exciting!!!
Jeremiah was the first kid called up -- he jumped up, ran to Santa and got in his lap. He was very, very cute! Not scared at all.
Samuel had a gift for Santa too. A picture of Santa in his sleigh. That's my boy -- always giving to others.
