School, Haircuts, Family & Bikes

My posts tend to run with whatever pics get downloaded from my camera. So here's a pictoral recap of the last couple weeks.

Samuel's first day of First Grade. Isn't he handsome? He loves his new teacher and his new schedule. It sure is fun having a first grader.

Last weekend we got a visit from Vivien, Jovita & T-bo. In the past I've posted about Jeremiah's birthmom, Jessica. This is her family. They came and spent the night with us. Vivien's new tradition (we've done it twice, that makes it a tradition) is to cook dinner for us when she comes. She is an incredible cook, so we graciously agree. :) What a blessing these relationships are in our lives.

T-bo is Jeremiah's biological uncle. He is 15 and 6 ft. tall. He agreed to cut Jeremiah's hair while he was here. We learned some things by watching. Thank you T-bo!! Jeremiah looks great!

How many people does it take to cut a 2 year old's hair?

Jeremiah got a new bike last weekend. He loves it and will ride up and down the street over and over and over. I think he's more excited about actually getting to be in the street than being on his bike. :)

See how good he is at riding already?

Samuel learned a new trick as well. It's funny how bikes go through cycles. Samuel hasn't ridden his bike in two months and now we can't keep him off of it. Same with all the kids on the block. Oh well, it's lots of fun!

So that's been the last week or so for us (actually school started the middle of August). Hope everything is going well with you and yours.

I still don't want to write a blog, but I like reading them - especially now that I'm onto bloglines that notifies me whenever someone posts (that's on my list!) Great pictures - what special relationships. Guess what - one of my professors is Filipina! I just met her last night and it's fun to listen and watch her. - Sarah B.
