I guess it's true, I jinked them! (see this post for explanation) This has been a sad, sad week for Maverick fans! I guess the only small glimmer of light in the whole thing is that Gary Payton and Alonzo Mourning finally got rings. Oh well! Maybe next year.
Tomorrow I leave for Fiji with Come Before Winter. I am thankful to God (and all of His giving saints) that He has brought in all the money I needed -- even though for quite a while there, it looked like it wasn't going to come. But I think He enjoys the last minute.
Please pray for the team, the women coming and especially for my sweet family who stays behind, again. I miss them so terribly much when I'm gone. I certainly have the 3 sweetest, most wonderful men in the world to be a family with.

Live updates from Fiji? How cool would that be! I'll be praying for you and everyone else and especially those sweet boys. I can't wait to hear all the stories when you get back!
