From the Mouth of Babes

Words that sound strange coming from the mouth of a six year old:
  • symmetrical -- when talking about the soap pattern on his hands. Yes, they taught him that in kindergarten. I don't think I learned that until high school.
  • darn it -- we've replaced it with fiddlesticks (man, I'm old fashioned)
  • oh my gosh -- haven't found a replacement, but it sure sound wierd coming from him

Words that sound strange coming from the mouth of a two year old:
  • Awesome!! -- said whenever anything awesome happens
  • Sure! -- in response to a request for him to do something for you
  • Bless you! -- everytime you sneeze and even when he pretends to sneeze
(Notice all of Jeremiah's words have exclamation marks after then -- that kind of describes his life right now.)

Nothing else exciting is happening around here. Hence the lack of posts. However, David and I are going to Washington DC on Monday for four days. I'll have plenty to post then.

Oh and...

What cute boys you have! I'm proud to know a boy who appreciates symmetry and a boy who likes to exclaim! :D
